Through the analysis of the epigraphic and statuary evidence that relates to emperor Trajan in the cities of the western provinces, my objective is to determine the various forms of expression of allegiance and loyalty of the provincials towards him . The presence of Trajan through these two forms of expression usually privileged for imperial propaganda is very significant.
